The focus of this meeting continued looking at items that have been submitted to the
Patches tracker
but have not yet been either accepted or rejected.

Patches discussed
This session concentrated on patches relating to the Net-SNMP library.
Library issues
- 1627049 2007-01-03
netsnmp api extension to deal with large file handles- basic patch was applied shortly after submission
- several issues were raised in the tracker discussion, which still need consideration
- 1257347 2005-08-12
Change to connection string size- basic idea looks OK - patch tidying up, plus error checking
- DTS to update and apply
- Now applied
- 724925 2003-04-21
cleanup memory- Needs very careful attention, to avoid introducing crashes - main benefit at shutdown
- Still awaiting a volunteer
Patches outstanding
Patches relating to the perl modules were scheduled for discussion, but there wasn't sufficient time to consider them. These, together with the newer patches and other categories were left for another meeting. All outstanding patches are listed on the Patch summary page.
