We ask that when you are holding a conversation about the Net-SNMP tool-suite that you continue your conversations on the Mailing Lists. When someone writes you back about a question you posed on the mailing lists, it is very important that you write the mailing list back and not just to the person who wrote you.

You're questions are much more likely to be responded to in a timely matter if you do so. Your questions may evolve into other subject areas that someone else may have more knowledge in.

Finally, it is important that all these conversations get archived in the searchable mailing list archives. Not only will other people who are following the conversation learn something from the discussion, but future people with similar questions will be able to simply search the archives for an answer.
